I shoot a bowtech Liberty, (my husbands old bowtech) and I love it, it shoots flat, has 80% let off and, I had my first complete pass through last year with it! Whoever you buy it through should set it up for your wife for no additional cost, unless you add anything to it of course. Tell here Congrats on a new addiction ;) Archery is FUN!!!

Steve,
I live in NJ and went to a local archery shop. The owner set me up with a youth Hoyt. I am in my second year of using it and I love it. I killed 2 deer with it last year. It has the lower draw length and weight. I am at the top weight range with it right now. He also gave me lessons and set the bow up specifically for me with the extras needed. All of this cost me less than $500.00

I love the bow, but now am thinking about what to buy for next year and buying a crossbow for NJ. Anyway hope this helps.

high country speed pro... set it at 60lbs and you'll be shooting at a minimum of 270 fps with the right arrows 80% letoff it weaights 3.5lbs, one of the lightest bows on the market. Good Luck

I still shoot my old PSE Fitzgerald. However we just got our daughter who is about my size a Bear Odessey 2. She loves it. It has adjustable draw length and weight. And it is affordable. It comes with the quiver, whisker biscuit and stabilizer. We lucked out and got it for about $300. Best thing I can recommend is take her to the archery shop and let her try the different ones out and find the one she likes best.
