***A BIG CONGRATS TO LUELLA'S FATHER-IN-LAW ON AN AWESOME BUCK!!!***

My Father-in-law is AWESOME!!!
He's 74, has diabetes, had open heart surgery, a pace maker, multiple eye surgeries (and shoots a left handed bow because he can see better out of his left eye).
Lyle shot a BUCK yesterday while sitting in my treestand (grumble, grumble. the one I have only seen two bucks, a two point and a spike all season, so when it got cold, I shot a doe.). Glen(my husband) has seen this buck quite a few times during his hunts on the river bottom this year. Brian (my brother-in-law) named it The "Ben Lauden buck" (the one everyone wants to kill but no one can find).
This buck walked TEN FEET under Lyle, He made a beautiful shot, This buck then ran past my 12 year old, Justin and and husband, Glen's double stand, they said this buck was jumping 15 feet distances, as he ran by. Lyle shot this buck 2 days before the end of the season!

Here are some pictures I took of the buck in our garage, (Glen has the pictures of Lyle and the buck on his camera and will post them as soon as he gets it to the store.) If anyone deserves this deer I think Lyle does, He is more dedicated to archery hunting than anyone I know! Way to go DAD!!!!!
this is the unlimited draw hunt on the riverbottoms in south east Idaho.

**CONGRATS ON AN AWESOME MISSOURI WHITETAIL!!**

**STEVE BURCH WITH A BOONER!!**

**CONGRATS TO STEVE ON HIS 2008 NEW JERSEY BUCK!!**

**CONGRATS TO HEATH JOHNS WITH HIS 2008 ILLINOIS BUCK!!**

Here's the buck i killed last week in pike county, illinois. I saw this buck about 450 yards out in a wide open field and i watched i work his way to about 150 yards along the edge of a point that stuck out in the field. I thought he was going to go into the point so i got my primos can out and started calling to him and here he comes. He finally got to where i could shoot and i ranged him at 46 yards and thought it now or never. I drew back and grunted with my mouth 3 times and he never stopped and he was fixin to be where i couldnt shoot at him, so i just hollered "hey" and he stopped and looked my way and i let her fly. The shoot was perfect, double lunged him and he only ran about 60 yards and pilled up. Its my best buck to date. He's a 10pt that scored 136 1/8 and tipped the scales at 220 lbs. Down here in TN we dont have deer with bodies like that and my deer was just a 3 year old buck.

Shot this IOWA whitetail by sneaking along a corn field and looking down the rows on a very cold and windy December day. He was bedded down about 25 yards into the high corn...shot him lying there looking the other way.

This is me with my biggest bowkill buck to date. He is a 9 point that dressed out at 170lbs. I took him on November 11th, 2006 at 6:32 am. I was set up on a beautiful little sidehill bench funnel that the bucks in the area use to cruise between doe bedding areas. I first heard the deer when he " growled " loudly. I reached in my pocket, took out my can estrus call, flipped it over twice and waited. I could clearly hear him coming my way, grunting with every step! I readied myself knowing he was going to enter my best lane, a mere 15 yards away! Right before he entered it he paused to work a tree limb and paw out a scrape. Then he made his way forward, I gave him the " URRRP! ", settled my pin and, well, as you can see the results speak for themselves!! Nice Maine bucks are hard to come by, especially with a bow! I'm proud to say the least!!
