Hey Kurtis,
Great page, I really like the whitetail pic's. My family owns about 800 acres out side of Red Oak but I have never hunted it.

Hi Kurtis - I was in Iowa - zone 7 - the first wek of December. I hunted a section of woodland between Norway and Watsonville. A friend called to inform us that some deer ( and nice buck) had just run into his cornfield. We actually walked along the edge of the cornfield and saw the buck standing about 20 yards into the filed. we were about 8 yards from the edge of the high corn giving me about a 28 yard shot with the Remington 270 slug gun.

Thanks for the invite. I'm new to the site, and new to hunting myself, but have always wanted to. You have some great bucks in your photos, hopefully one of these days I'll be able to nail something better than the broad side of a barn.lol.
