Well, after a great season and taking 2 good birds, momma said it was time to get back to work. Trying to get out in the woods when I can and get trails and Blinds cleaned up for fall and next years Youth hunt. Busy, Busy, Busy.
They Both work, but I have to agree that it does depend on time of the year and what you are hunting. I prefer the Mossy Oak Obsession myself. But dont kid yourself , I have a ton of Realtree in the house that I do use during late fall.
This an annual hunt that is put on near Williamsburg , Kansas. This year there was 25 kids . There were 4 girls in it and they shot 5 turkeys. We have some sponsors and the kids have a great time. Next year we will have calling contests too. If ther…
Nothing much. Very quiet this season but thankful for what there is. Glad to hear about your folks. Now how do you get to 70? No horns to measure I'm sure. The only turkeys we see out this way are the very cold ones.
Leaving for Kruger Park tomorrow with three couples so I'll post a picture or 2, hopefully not running away one's. Dick still doing good? Regards
Hi Mike, I see your dad on the pictures. He still getting round to hunting? Wish I knew if you got a good/big bird. Maybe you should take some time out and explain to me what a good bird looks like please. Hope you fill the tags for your boys too. Enjoy the hunting!
NICE to have YOU on board the HUNTERSPOT...where hunters and fishermen tell lies...sorry...I mean interesting stories. This is a great place to make contacts in all aspects of the outdoor world. The photos are amazing. I'll be on a sight and stalk archery hunt in ALASKA next week and will post new pics as soon as I get back. My BEST to YOU.

Hey buddy, hope to heck you are doing good. Starting to get busy now. How many turkeys did you get legally? My best to your family and your site looks great. I may not have time every day but will certainly try and keep up. Regards Pieter
Congrats, Mike that's a nice one. Good luck with the rest of the month then. Turkeys are just getting back to decent numbers here in NJ. Some parts of the state are getting overpopulated but here by us we are still in the low numbers. A permit in NJ only gets you 5 days of hunting. I'm still looking for my first bird. Good Luck in the field for 2009.
