I am a avid hunter that had a trampoline accident 10yrs ago and was paralzed and confined to a wheelchair. I missed getting to the spots I used to hunt so instead of sitting around... No pun intended, I invented the Renegade All Terrain Wheelchair. 5yrs later I hooked up with Alpha One an independent living center in South Portland, ME. We are now having the chair made in a facility down the road and have them for sale. Independence is a great thing and should never be taking lightly. Now I feel I have gained alot of my independence back and want to spread that to anyone who wants to get back out where we were told we couldn't.
Welcome Aboard, Glade to see you didn't let your accident stop you from doing what you want to. My Father god rest his sole, was born with only three fingers on his left hand, and they all were atached. He had five surgeries befor he was three, just to get movement and use of the hand. He never stopped tough alway in the woods year round until the day he died in the Colorado Mountains just after killing his biggest buck ever!
Welcome! I can appreciate your cause. My grandfather lost an arm and everything on the other hand but two fingers. He never let it stop him from doing the things he loves though. He still goes out hunting and fishing, and has always been a great inspiration to me. He has caught some real nice fish with us so far this year, I have some pictures under my photos if you are interested in checking them out.
