I whole heartly agree with you. You can not eat the antlers, and elk track stew is hard to eat
I hunt for the meat on the table. The first part of the season is usually bulls only. But I camp out in the mountains. The last part of the season is usually any elk, and I get what I can
Hey Jhon, I have also harvested a few elk. As of Dec. 2008 I have put 47 bulls and 8 cows on the ground. This bull scored 417 inches.

- NICE to have YOU on board the HUNTERSPOT...where hunters and fishermen tell lies...sorry...I mean interesting stories. This is a great place to make contacts in all aspects of the outdoor world.
