Rob Hopkins Gun Dog training with my two young boys...........

It's been a long winter here in New England & I've been itching to get Katy out with other dogs and to train with
other pointing dog folks. On Saturday, we traveled down to CT and hooked up with some great folks for some Field Trial training- working young dogs from horseback, working adult dogs on conditioning runs & birdwork.

Chris Results from the 2010 Northern Missouri Coyote Calling Contest Jackpot Hunt

We had a good turn out at the jackpot hunt. 63 team entered. 29 teams harvested and 49 coyotes were harvested. We had a tie for big dog and the two teams had to draw high cards to break the tie. The winners are as follow.

Don Barnhill I haven't been here for a while

I just plain been lazy. I built two hutches for my youngest daughter, Suzanne and a smaller version for the older one, Samantha. I've been working on some knife display cases and a couple of turkey box calls. I have no idea how the turkey calls are suppose to sound as I've never used one nor hunted turkeys. Chris Results from the 5th Annual Northern Missouri Coyote Calling Contest

This was our best year yet despite the weather. We went from 42 teams last year to 66 teams. Out of the 66 teams only 19 harvested for a total of 28 coyotes and 2 foxes. We were able to donate $255 to the Harrison County Food Pantry. Our contest winners are as follow: 1st place Team # 15, Jacob H & Josh S. They won $488. Winning with 4 coyotes.
