I havent shot this stuff yet but do loads of waterfowling.. If anyone has can u answer me this. Does it realy hit harder then regular steel?

I shot them a couple years back. I thought they worked really well outta my gun. Seemed like you could reach out a little further with them. I stopped buying them not because I didn't like them, but just because they are not as easily available as some other loads, and the price is very significant when comparing to regular steel. I don't think you can deny they are a better, the test results prove that, but I still feel the benefits are not all that incredible when you weigh them out with the price.

I would have to agree i went online and compared the prices and for a guy who is going to shoot alot of shots over a season i cant see it being lagitimate to pay that price for a shotgun load..

I finally made it to the board and this is my first post. I have been duckin for 20 years. There is no better duck load than high brass #6 heavy game loads. Steel shot has actually gotten better in my opinion but needs to be shot/ patterned just like buck shot. I have found Windchester to shoot better and more consistent that other brands. Most important to me is high velocity. Winchester high velocity steel is my favorite. Of course #4 buck for that reach out and touch Canada goose works well also, Just kidding.....

shot the black cloud its so dam exspensive and i didnt notice much of big difference in my oppinion..
